Attention wrestling fanatics! WrestleMania, WWE’s biggest event, will break boundaries and move to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, as part of the “Riyadh Season” in 2027. This announcement marks a historic milestone, as it will be the first time WrestleMania is held outside of North America since its inception in 1985. Paul “Triple H” Levesque, WWE’s Chief Content Officer, had previously hinted at the possibility of taking the event international. Now, that dream comes true, opening a new chapter for the company and its fans.

The official announcement comes after the appearance of Turki Alalshikh, chairman of the General Entertainment Authority of Saudi Arabia, in a now-deleted live Snapchat video, where the news was confirmed.

WWE has been holding events in Saudi Arabia since 2018, as part of a $1 billion deal that includes multiple shows in the country over a decade. The next Royal Rumble in 2025 will be the first of WWE’s “Big Four” events to be held in Saudi Arabia.

Meanwhile, WrestleMania 42 will take place at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on April 18 and 19, 2026, marking the second consecutive time the city hosts the event.
