The city of Riyadh, in Saudi Arabia, will host this historic event, as part of the “Riyadh Season”. Since its inception in 1985, WrestleMania has remained true to North American cities. However, the vision of expanding the event globally, proposed by WWE’s Chief Creative Officer, Paul “Triple H” Levesque, will finally materialize.

The official announcement comes after the revelation by Turki Alalshikh, chairman of the General Entertainment Authority of Saudi Arabia, who anticipated the news through a video on Snapchat.

The company has been holding events in the country since 2018, thanks to a billion-dollar deal that guarantees multiple shows for a decade. The next Royal Rumble, in 2024, will be the first of WWE’s “Big Four” events to be held in Saudi Arabia. Meanwhile, fans can prepare for WrestleMania 42, which will take place at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on April 18 and 19, 2026. It will be the second consecutive time that Las Vegas hosts this grand event.
