WrestleMania Expands: Saudi Arabia to Host the Event in 2027

The chosen destination is Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, as part of the “Riyadh Season” in 2027. Since its creation in 1985, WrestleMania has been held exclusively in North American cities. This decision marks a significant change in WWE’s strategy, which seeks to expand its global reach and bring its spectacle to new audiences.The official announcement comes after the anticipation generated by the chairman of Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority, Turki Alalshikh, who had hinted at the news in a Snapchat video. The partnership between WWE and Saudi Arabia has been fruitful since 2018.This is an opportunity to show the world that WWE is a global brand that reaches every corner of the world and excites fans everywhere.
