RAF Pays Tribute to Hulk Hogan with WWE Support
Real American Freestyle (RAF) Wrestling, in collaboration with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), will present a moving video tribute to the remembered commissioner Hulk Hogan during its inaugural event this Saturday. Hogan, a key figure in the expansion of the World Wrestling Federation in the 1980s, passed away on July 24 at the age of 71. The event will take place at the Wolstein Center in Cleveland and will be broadcast via FOX Nation. Months before his departure, Hogan expressed his enthusiasm to Alofoke Deportes about RAF, the new company he co-founded with Chad Bronstein. Bronstein, also CEO of RAF, assures that Hogan’s influence will be fundamental for the company.RAF and WWE maintain a cordial relationship. Real American Beer, RAF’s main sponsor, is 10% owned by WWE and was co-founded by Bronstein.I was very proud. He has been a great friend, mentor, and partner. American Olympic gold medalist Kurt Angle, one of WWE’s most important stars in the early 2000s, will participate as a commentator. Bronstein revealed that Hogan suggested Angle’s participation. In addition, former WWE manager Jimmy Hart and former world champion John Layfield will also be part of Saturday’s event. The main event will feature the match between Wyatt Hendrickson and Mostafa Aly Elsayed Gabr Elders from Egypt. Other featured matches include: Bo Nickal vs. Jacob Cardenas; Yianni Diakomihalis vs. Bajrang Punia; Darrion Caldwell vs. Real Woods; and Austin Gomez vs. Lance Palmer. In the women’s category, Kennedy Blades will face Alejandra Rivera and Sarah Hildebrandt will face Zeltzin Hernandez.We don’t compete with them. They provide us with a lot of support.
