Stephanie McMahon Headlines WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2026

In a surprising revelation during the WrestlePalooza broadcast on Saturday, former WWE co-CEO and chairwoman Stephanie McMahon was announced as the first inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame for the year 2026. The news was revealed by The Undertaker, a Hall of Fame member, who made a special appearance.

The Undertaker, using his iconic “American Badass” persona, arrived at the ring on his motorcycle. There, in front of a surprised McMahon, who was in the front row, he communicated the news. “Are you ready?”, The Undertaker asked, before revealing his induction.

McMahon’s career in the company, from 1998 to 2023, was marked by multiple roles. She began as an account executive and receptionist in 1998, and quickly became involved on screen, participating in her father, Vince McMahon’s, rivalry with The Undertaker in 1999.

Her versatility led her to become a wrestler, achieving the WWF Women’s Championship in the year 2000, while simultaneously performing behind-the-scenes roles as a director, Senior Vice President of Creative Writing, Executive Vice President of Creative Development and Operations, and Chief Brand Officer.

McMahon continued to make regular appearances and participate in important storylines. One of them materialized in real life when she married professional wrestler Paul “Triple H” Levesque in 2003.

In 2019, her television appearances decreased as she took on greater administrative responsibilities. Following an investigation into allegations of sexual misconduct against her father, she was appointed interim president and CEO. Although she resigned from her position in 2023, she has continued to make occasional appearances for the company.

The 2026 Hall of Fame ceremony is scheduled to take place during WrestleMania weekend in Las Vegas, in April.
