WWE Arrives at ESPN: A New Home for WrestleMania and More Events

In a piece of news that shakes the world of sports entertainment, World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) has reached an agreement with ESPN, marking a milestone in the broadcast of wrestling events starting in 2026. This strategic agreement makes ESPN the exclusive U.S. home for WWE’s premium events. ESPN’s streaming platform will be in charge of broadcasting iconic events such as WrestleMania and SummerSlam, as well as other featured events like Royal Rumble, Survivor Series, and Money in the Bank. WWE will be in charge of the production of these events for ESPN’s platforms.

WWE has an immense, devoted, and passionate fan base that we are excited to serve on our new ESPN DTC platform. This agreement, which features WWE’s most important events of the year, reinforces our unprecedented content portfolio and drives our streaming future.

The agreement also includes the broadcast of pre- and post-event programs of WWE live events on ESPN’s streaming platform. ESPN’s streaming service, launching on August 21, will be priced at $29.99 per month. Users will have access to the seven national ESPN linear channels, plus ESPN on ABC and other streaming options. This change means that WWE events, which were previously broadcast on Peacock, will find a new home starting in 2026.
