WWE Arrives at ESPN: A New Home for WrestleMania and More

A historic agreement between World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and ESPN will mark a before and after in the broadcast of wrestling events. Starting in 2026, fans will be able to enjoy emblematic events such as WrestleMania through ESPN’s new direct-to-consumer streaming platform. The recently announced agreement covers two-night events such as WrestleMania and SummerSlam, as well as other premium live WWE events, including Royal Rumble, Survivor Series, and Money in the Bank. WWE will be in charge of producing the events for ESPN platforms, which will become the exclusive home for these events in the United States.

In addition to the main events, ESPN will have the opportunity to broadcast the pre- and post-event shows live from WWE. ESPN’s streaming service will launch on August 21st with a price of $29.99 per month and will keep the name of the linear network: ESPN. The direct-to-consumer service will allow users to access ESPN’s seven national linear networks, as well as ESPN on ABC and various other streaming options. WWE events were previously streamed on Peacock in 2025.
