WWE Comes to ESPN: A New Home for WrestleMania and More

A historic agreement between World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and ESPN will mark a before and after for wrestling fans. Starting in 2026, the most important WWE events, including WrestleMania, will be broadcast through ESPN’s new direct-to-consumer streaming service. The announcement, made on Wednesday, promises a renewed experience for fans, who will be able to enjoy two-night events like WrestleMania and SummerSlam. In addition, other premium live WWE events will be included, such as Royal Rumble, Survivor Series, and Money in the Bank. WWE will be in charge of producing the events for ESPN platforms, which will become the exclusive home of wrestling in the United States.

WWE has an immense, devoted, and passionate fanbase that we are excited to serve on our new ESPN DTC platform. This agreement, which features WWE’s most significant events of the year, reinforces our unprecedented content portfolio and drives our streaming future.

The alliance also contemplates the transmission of the programs before and after WWE live events. We are proud to reinforce the ‘E’ in ESPN at such an exciting juncture in its direct-to-consumer journey. WWE Premium Live Events are renowned for exactly the kind of rich storytelling, incredible feats of athleticism, and must-see cultural experiences that have become synonymous with ESPN. Through our relationship with UFC, we have experienced firsthand how transformative a presence on ESPN can be, and we know this will be an exceptional partnership at a time of great innovation for both companies. ESPN’s new streaming service is scheduled to launch on August 21st, priced at $29.99 per month. Subscribers will have access to ESPN’s seven national linear channels, plus ESPN on ABC and other streaming options. WWE events were previously streamed on Peacock in 2025.
