John Cena Headlines WWE Premium Event in Indianapolis
Superstar John Cena will headline a WWE Premium Live Event next month in Indianapolis, which will stream on ESPN’s direct-to-consumer service. Cena will be accompanied by Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, Becky Lynch, CM Punk, and Drew McIntyre at the inaugural WWE Wrestlepalooza event, scheduled for Saturday, September 20th. The event will begin at 7 p.m. ET at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Rhodes holds the Undisputed WWE Championship, Rollins is the World Heavyweight Champion, and Lynch is the Intercontinental Women’s Champion. This event will mark Cena’s last in-ring appearance in Indianapolis. This event is the first under the new five-year agreement between WWE and ESPN, which will bring Premium Live events to ESPN platforms. ESPN’s direct-to-consumer service will premiere on Thursday, and subscribers to the unlimited plan will have access to all WWE Premium Live events as part of their package.Indianapolis hosted the 2025 Royal Rumble, which set an attendance record for the event at the nearby Lucas Oil Stadium. Tickets for the event will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. ET. Presale tickets will be available Thursday.
