John Cena Headlines WWE Premium Event in Indianapolis

Superstar John Cena will headline a WWE Premium Live Event next month in Indianapolis, which will be broadcast on ESPN’s streaming platform. Cena will share the ring with Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, Becky Lynch, CM Punk, and Drew McIntyre at WWE’s inaugural event, Wrestlepalooza, on Saturday, September 20th. The event will begin at 7 p.m. ET at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Rhodes is the undisputed WWE champion, Rollins holds the World Heavyweight Champion title, and Lynch is the intercontinental women’s champion. This event will mark Cena’s last appearance in Indianapolis. This event represents the beginning of a new five-year agreement between WWE and ESPN, which will bring live Premium events to ESPN platforms. Unlimited plan subscribers will have access to all WWE live Premium events as part of their package.

“On September 20th, WWE and ESPN are joining forces for a must-see event that will kick off our new partnership,” said Paul “Triple H” Levesque, WWE’s Chief Content Officer.

Indianapolis hosted the 2025 Royal Rumble, setting an attendance record at Lucas Oil Stadium. Tickets for the event will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. ET. Presales will be available on Thursday. In addition, two more events this year, Crown Jewel on October 11th and Survivor Series in San Diego on November 29th, will also be broadcast on ESPN platforms.
