John Cena to Headline WWE Event in Indianapolis

The renowned wrestler John Cena will lead a WWE Premium Live Event next month in Indianapolis, which will be broadcast on ESPN’s streaming platform. Dinner will share the quadrilateral with figures of the stature of Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, Becky Lynch, CM Punk and Drew McIntyre in the inaugural event of WWE’s Wrestlepalooza, scheduled for Saturday, September 20. The event will start at 7 p.m. ET at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Cody Rhodes, current undisputed WWE champion, Seth Rollins, World Heavyweight Champion, and Becky Lynch, intercontinental women’s champion, will also be present. This event will mark Cena’s last appearance in Indianapolis. This event is the first of a five-year agreement between WWE and ESPN, which will bring Premium Live events to ESPN platforms. ESPN’s direct-to-consumer streaming service will debut on Thursday, and subscribers to the unlimited plan will have access to all WWE Premium Live events as part of their package.

On September 20th, WWE and ESPN will join forces for a can’t-miss event that will kick off our new partnership.

Indianapolis hosted the 2025 Royal Rumble, which set an attendance record for the event at the nearby Lucas Oil Stadium. Tickets for the event will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. ET. Presale tickets will be available Thursday. In addition, two more events this year, Crown Jewel on October 11th and Survivor Series in San Diego on November 29th, will also be broadcast on ESPN platforms.
