John Cena Headlines Wrestlepalooza in Indianapolis
WWE superstar John Cena will headline the company’s Premium Live Event next month in Indianapolis, which will be broadcast via ESPN’s direct-to-consumer service. Cena will share the ring with prominent figures such as Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, Becky Lynch, CM Punk, and Drew McIntyre at WWE’s first Wrestlepalooza, scheduled for Saturday, September 20th. The event will begin at 7 p.m. ET at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Rhodes holds the undisputed WWE title, Rollins is the World Heavyweight Champion, and Lynch is the Women’s Intercontinental Champion. This event will mark Cena’s last appearance in Indianapolis. This inaugural event is part of the new five-year agreement between WWE and ESPN, which will bring live Premium events to ESPN platforms. ESPN’s direct-to-consumer service will launch on Thursday, and subscribers to the unlimited plan will have access to all Premium live WWE events as part of their package.Indianapolis hosted the 2025 Royal Rumble, which set an attendance record for the event at the nearby Lucas Oil Stadium. Tickets for the event will go on sale starting Friday at 10 a.m. ET. Presales will be available on Thursday. In addition, two more events this year, Crown Jewel on October 11th and Survivor Series in San Diego on November 29th, will also be broadcast on ESPN platforms.On September 20th, WWE and ESPN are joining forces for a can’t-miss event that will mark the beginning of our new partnership.
