This initiative, expected for two decades, represents a significant step in promoting school sports.\n\nThe inaugural event, led by the executive director of INEFI, Alberto Rodr\u00edguez Mella, marks the formal start of a sports infrastructure project that will benefit students and the community in general.\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>With the beginning of this work, we are fulfilling the requirements of President Luis Abinader and the Ministry of Education (MINERD), carrying out the realization of a space for sports practice, recreation, leisure, and socialization.<\/p><cite>Alberto Rodr\u00edguez Mella, Executive Director of INEFI<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nThe covered sports center will offer a suitable space for sports practice, socialization, coexistence, and various events. In addition to promoting physical activity and a healthy lifestyle, this space will serve for social and community gatherings.\n\nRepresentative Jos\u00e9 Manuel Caraballo, on behalf of the residents of Ciudad Nueva and surrounding areas, expressed his gratitude to INEFI for making this long-awaited project a reality.\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>Today that dream begins and becomes a reality. For many years, the community of Ciudad Nueva, Zona Colonial, Gazcue and the entire surrounding area, had dreamed of this moment, which Alberto Rodr\u00edguez will make a reality.<\/p><cite>Jos\u00e9 Manuel Caraballo, Deputy<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nYris M.
