HIG\u00dcEY, LA ALTAGRACIA – Club San Francisco secured its place in the semifinals of the 50th Superior Altagraciano Basketball Tournament (TBS Hig\u00fcey 2025) after defeating San Jos\u00e9 with a score of 102-96.<\/p>\n
This crucial triumph granted them the last qualifying ticket and positioned them in third place in the standings with a 5-5 record.<\/p>\n
In the next phase, San Francisco will face Savica (6-4) in the B semifinal series, a best-of-five games (5-3) matchup.<\/p>\n
The competition was fierce, as San Francisco, Centro, and Cambel\u00e9n finished the regular season tied with 5-5. However, Cambel\u00e9n was left out due to the tie-breaking criteria based on point difference.<\/p>\n
The B semifinal series will begin this Saturday at 7:20 PM. Simultaneously, the A series, which involves the Antonio Guzm\u00e1n (6-4) and Centro clubs, will start at 9:00 PM, also with a best-of-five games format (5-3). Both matches will take place at the Leo Tav\u00e1rez sports complex in Hig\u00fcey.<\/p>\n
The performance of San Francisco was driven by Oscar Montero, who led the offense with 31 points, 7 rebounds, and 7 assists. Jorky Mota contributed 26 points, 4 rebounds, and 8 assists. Roel L\u00f3pez also stood out with a double-double of 16 points, 10 rebounds, and 7 assists.<\/p>\n
