The golfer, one of the most prominent figures on the circuit, whose current contract with LIV Golf, according to reports, exceeds $100 million, ends after the 2026 season.

We are looking to negotiate at the end of this year, and I am very excited. They see the value in me. I see the value in what they can provide, and I believe we will reach some kind of resolution. I am very excited about the future.
Bryson DeChambeau

DeChambeau also expressed his interest in being part of the negotiations between the LIV Golf League and the PGA Tour for a possible agreement to reunify both circuits.

I would love to help. I think I have good ideas. I would love the collaboration of both parties, from the players’ side, not just at the level of senior management. I would love for the players on the circuit and the LIV players to come together and say: ‘Hey, what do we want to do? What are we trying to achieve here?’.
Bryson DeChambeau

DeChambeau questions how professional golf will look in the next ten years, and seeks a viable solution for both sides.

The framework agreement between the PGA Tour, the DP World Tour, and the Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund, which finances LIV Golf, was reached on June 6, 2023. However, the parties have not reached an agreement in the two years since then.

Sources indicate that there have been no conversations since PIF governor Yasir Al-Rumayyan met with PGA Tour commissioner Jay Monahan and player directors Tiger Woods and Adam Scott at the White House on February 20.

DeChambeau visited President Donald Trump at the White House on June 2.

DeChambeau highlights that Al-Rumayyan is an investor who will seek a business plan with a good return on his investment.

Although LIV Golf has had well-attended tournaments in Australia, Korea, and Spain, it has struggled to gain television viewership and has experienced moderate interest in the United States.

I think LIV isn’t going to disappear. Al-Rumayyan has been firm in his belief in team golf, and whether everyone believes in it or not, I think it’s a viable option. I think it’s a viable commercial option.
Bryson DeChambeau

DeChambeau trusts in the value that LIV brings and is excited about the future of golf.

DeChambeau is among the LIV Golf stars whose initial contracts with the league are about to expire in the next 18 months. LIV Golf also attracted former major champions Brooks Koepka, Dustin Johnson, Cameron Smith, Jon Rahm and others with contracts that included guaranteed signing bonuses and $25 million purses.

DeChambeau’s value has increased since he signed with LIV Golf in June 2022. He won his second US Open title at Pinehurst No. 2 last year and has more than 2 million subscribers on his YouTube channel.

DeChambeau emphasizes the pressure any golfer feels when trying to win the US Open and focuses on giving his best.

DeChambeau was one of 11 LIV Golf players who sued the PGA Tour in a California federal court in August 2022, alleging that the circuit was using its monopoly power to stifle competition. The lawsuits were dropped following a framework agreement.

It’s still unclear whether DeChambeau and other LIV Golf players would face a suspension before being reinstated by the PGA Tour if an agreement is ever reached.

History is created where you make it. The circuit started somewhere. Byron Nelson and Ben Hogan, they all won when the circuit was very young. They created history for future stars. Will it take time for LIV? Yes. Do I see value in the PGA Tour? Yes. Do I see value in LIV? Yes.
Bryson DeChambeau

Bryson DeChambeau seeks new deal with LIV Golf The defending US Open champion, Bryson DeChambeau, has expressed his desire to reach a new agreement with the LIV Golf League before the end of the year.
