HIG\u00dcEY, LA ALTAGRACIA – San Francisco Club conquered the last spot for the semifinals of the 50th Superior Altagraciano Basketball Tournament (TBS Hig\u00fcey 2025) after defeating San Jos\u00e9 with a score of 102-96.<\/p>\n
This crucial victory positions San Francisco in third place in the standings with a 5-5 record. In the semifinal phase, they will face Savica (6-4) in a best-of-five series (5-3).<\/p>\n
San Francisco, Centro and Cambel\u00e9n finished the regular round tied with 5-5. However, Cambel\u00e9n was left out due to the tie-breaking criteria by points difference (goal average).<\/p>\n
The B semifinal will begin this Saturday at 7:20 p.m. The A series, which will pit the Antonio Guzm\u00e1n (6-4) and Centro clubs against each other, will start at 9:00 p.m., also in a 5-3 format. Both matches will be held at the Leo Tav\u00e1rez sports center in Hig\u00fcey.<\/p>\n
In San Francisco’s triumph, Oscar Montero stood out with 31 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists, and Jorky Mota, who contributed 26 points, 4 rebounds and 8 assists. Roel L\u00f3pez achieved a double-double with 16 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists. Luis Feliz, a capital reinforcement, added 12 points and 7 rebounds, while Leoanny Reynoso contributed 11 points and 7 rebounds.<\/p>\n
