The NBA has announced a financial sanction for Denver Nuggets coach David Adelman. The fine, worth $35,000, is due to his behavior during Sunday’s game.<\/p>\n
According to the league’s official statement, Adelman used “inappropriate language” directed at the referees. In addition, he was penalized for not leaving the court immediately after being ejected.<\/p>\n
Adelman’s ejection occurred in the final quarter of the game between the Nuggets and the Houston Rockets, played in Denver. The coach received a second technical foul after protesting a referee’s decision involving Nikola Jokic.<\/p>\n
This was Adelman’s first ejection in the NBA, who took the reins of the Nuggets last season.<\/p>\n
The game ended with the Rockets’ victory by a score of 101-115, ending the Nuggets’ six-game winning streak. The Rockets thus achieved revenge after the defeat suffered against the Nuggets in Denver five days earlier.<\/p>\n
