This will require surgery to stabilize the ankle, likely sidelining him at the start of the 2025-26 season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n\n<p>&#8220;After consulting with the Grizzlies and several specialists, we decided this is the best long-term approach for Zach, as it gets him back to 100% without limitations,&#8221; stated Mark Bartelstein, Edey&#8217;s representative from Priority Sports.<\/p>\n\n<cite>Mark Bartelstein, Zach Edey&#8217;s representative<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>In his rookie season, Edey averaged 9.2 points and led all rookies with 8.3 rebounds per game.
