His performance included additional birdies on holes 8, 9, 13, and 16.\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>I&#8217;m happy to have had a great start and I&#8217;m looking forward to the weekend. There&#8217;s still a lot of golf to play. I&#8217;m very excited to see that today&#8217;s good golf and hard work are paying off.<\/p><cite>Elizabeth Szokol<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nThe 30-year-old American golfer already knows what it&#8217;s like to win a tournament, having triumphed at the 2023 Dow Great Lakes Bay Invitational alongside Cheyenne Knight.\n\n\n<p>For her part, Ilhee Lee also shone, with a round that included consecutive birdies on three occasions, and a single bogey. The 36-year-old South Korean golfer is seeking her second title on the circuit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>I have no expectations. I just play golf. I go out, have fun.
