Erik Gonz\u00e1lez hit a single and scored thanks to a hit by S\u00f3crates Brito in the first inning.\nThe Tigres responded in the third inning. Gustavo N\u00fa\u00f1ez drove in the first run and Cristhian Adames added another with a single, putting the score at 2-1 in favor of the Licey.\nIn the fourth inning, the Lions regained control with three runs, taking advantage of walks and consecutive doubles by Junior Lake and Franchy Cordero, to take a 4-2 lead.\nIn the ninth inning, the Tigers tied the game 5-5 with RBIs by Cal Stevenson and Michael De La Cruz, forcing extra innings.\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The decisive moment<\/h3>\n\nAlthough a double by Luis de los Santos gave the Leones the lead in the tenth, Ronny Mauricio hit a home run that sealed the victory for the Tigres, leaving the final score 6-5.\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Featured Performances<\/h3>\n\nRadham\u00e9s Liz pitched 3.0 innings for the Tigres, while Jean Carlos Mej\u00eda took the victory.
