Athletics led the performance, followed by boxing and karate, adding important medals for the country.\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Athletics: Rosa Ram\u00edrez Two-time Champion<\/h2>\n\n\nAthlete Rosa Ang\u00e9lica Ram\u00edrez was crowned two-time champion in shot put, revalidating her title with a mark of 17.44 meters. She surpassed Chileans Ivana Gallardo (17.22 m) and Ahymara Espinoza (17.05 m), from Venezuela, securing the gold for the Dominican Republic.\n\nThe women&#8217;s 4&#215;400 relay quartet, made up of Bianka Acosta Mercado, Milagros Dur\u00e1n Garc\u00eda, Patricia Sin\u00e9, and Estrella De Aza Henrry, won the silver medal with a time of 3:37.56, finishing behind Colombia, which set a new games record.\n\nThe men&#8217;s 4&#215;400 relay team, made up of Christopher Melenciano Reyes, Lidio Andr\u00e9s Feliz, Wilbert Encarnaci\u00f3n Luis and Yeral N\u00fa\u00f1ez, won the bronze with a time of 3:06.52. Venezuela took the gold and Ecuador the silver.\n\nCristian Rodr\u00edguez Mota added another bronze medal for the Dominican Republic in the 110-meter hurdles, with a time of 14.39 seconds.\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ferdy Agramonte, fifth in 800 m (1:48.64)<\/li>\n<li>Luis Peralta, ninth in 800 m (1:52.52)<\/li>\n<li>Milagros Dur\u00e1n, fifth in women&#8217;s 200 m (24.41)<\/li>\n<li>Lidio Andr\u00e9s Feliz, fourth in men&#8217;s 200 m (21.10)<\/li>\n<li>Christopher Melenciano, sixth in men&#8217;s 200 m (21.38)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<h2>Boxing: Silver for Katherine Bera and Jos\u00e9 Triset<\/h2>\n\nIn boxing, Katherine Bera Cabral (60 kg) and Jos\u00e9 Agust\u00edn Triset (+90 kg) won silver medals in their respective finals.\n\nThe Dominican boxing team concluded its participation with two silver and two bronze medals, the latter achieved by Elen Roble (51 kg) and Johan Ag\u00fcero (60 kg).\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Karate: Bronze for Larry Aracena<\/h2>\n\n\nLarry Aracena conquered the bronze medal in kata, surpassing the Chilean Crist\u00f3bal Barra. Casanova Guerrero (Venezuela) won the gold and Alejandro Ram\u00edrez (Colombia) the silver.\n\nIn kumite -60 kg, Aldhair Zabala Ogando was eliminated after losing his three fights.\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Other Disciplines<\/h2>\n\n\nThe mixed rowing team in quadruple sculls finished in sixth position.
