These achievements consolidate their position in the overall medal table, occupying seventh place with a total of 43 medals: 8 gold, 11 silver, and 24 bronze.\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Rowing<\/h2>\n\n\nIgnacio V\u00e1squez stood out by obtaining the gold medal in the men&#8217;s single sculls (LM1x) event, demonstrating his dominance at Cantolao beach, La Punta. V\u00e1squez completed the 200 meters with a time of 1:31.96, adding his second medal in the event, after the silver obtained in the lightweight double sculls.\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>Venezuelan Andre Ricardo Mora Sosa won silver (1:35.30) and Peruvian C\u00e9sar Cipriani Robles took the bronze (1:36.90).<\/p><cite>Results of the competition<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nIn other competitions, V\u00e1squez and Jancarlos Tineo finished in fifth place in the men&#8217;s double sculls (M2X) with a time of 1:30.97. In the women&#8217;s category, Wendy Sim\u00f3 Pe\u00f1a and Alisson Galay Morales did not manage to complete their race in W2X. For Thursday, the participation of V\u00e1squez, Tineo, Sim\u00f3 and Galay in the mixed quadruple sculls (4Mx+) is expected.\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Athletics<\/h2>\n\n\nDominican athletics added two silver medals in the relay races held at the Videna Athletic Stadium.\n\n\n<p>The men&#8217;s 4&#215;100 relay team, composed of Christopher Reyes, Melbin Jos\u00e9 Marcelino Olivo, Lidio Andr\u00e9s Feliz, and Yancarlos Mart\u00ednez, recorded a time of 39.20 seconds, securing the silver. Colombia took the gold with a Bolivarian record of 38.73, while Venezuela obtained the bronze with 39.31.<\/p>\n\n\nIn the women&#8217;s 4&#215;100 relay category, Fiordaliza Cofil, Liranyi Alonso, Patricia Sin\u00e9, and Milagros Dur\u00e1n won silver with a time of 44.23 seconds, surpassed by Colombia (44.00). Chile took the bronze by registering 45.08.\n\nOther outstanding track results include Lidio Andr\u00e9s Feliz&#8217;s fourth place in the men&#8217;s 200 meters (20.73) and Christopher Reyes&#8217; seventh place (21.01). In the women&#8217;s 200 meters, Milagros Dur\u00e1n obtained seventh place overall with 24.38. Estrella De Aza finished in fourth position in the women&#8217;s 400 meters (54.10), and Bianka Acosta in sixth (54.65). In the men&#8217;s 400 meters, Wilbert Encarnaci\u00f3n placed fourth with a time of 47.36.\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Judo<\/h2>\n\n\nThe Dominican judo team won the bronze medal in the mixed team event, after defeating Peru 4-1. The team had a competitive performance, although they lost 2-3 to Colombia and 1-4 to Venezuela, finishing third in the overall standings with nine medals: 3 gold, 1 silver and 5 bronze.\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Boxing<\/h2>\n\n\nDominican boxing secured two bronze medals thanks to the performances of Elen Roble (51 kg) and Johan Ag\u00fcero Monta\u00f1o (60 kg). In addition, Jos\u00e9 Agust\u00edn advanced to the final in the +90 kg category, guaranteeing at least silver after defeating Bolivian Jimmy Quiroz by RSC.\n\nJos\u00e9 Agust\u00edn will face Gerlon Congo from Ecuador in the final. Elen Roble was defeated 0-5 by the Peruvian Ana Baylon, and Ag\u00fcero lost by RSC in the second round against the Colombian Yilmar Gonz\u00e1lez.\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Bowling<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In the women&#8217;s individual final, the Dominican representatives obtained the following results:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Shantalle Hungr\u00eda, position 16 (1054 pins)<\/li><li>Letizia Santos, position 20 (987 pins)<\/li><li>Paula D\u00edaz, position 23 (935 pins)<\/li><li>Carmina V\u00e1squez, position 24 (905 pins)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Equestrian<\/h2>\n\n\nThe Dominican team is in fourth place in the Mixed Team Jump, with a cumulative score of 26.82.\n\nIn the mixed individual general jump:\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Juan Jos\u00e9 Bancalari Elm\u00fadesi: position 7 (5.24)<\/li><li>Aida S\u00e1nchez Ravelo: position 8 (5.97)<\/li><li>Manuel Fern\u00e1ndez Hach\u00e9: position 20 (20.32)<\/li><li>Manuel Bancalari Elm\u00fadesi: position 28 (56.61)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Golf<\/h2>\n\n\nWilly Pumarol had an outstanding second round, with 67 strokes, four under par, and placed second in the overall standings with a total of 137 strokes, tied with Chilean Gabriel Francisco and Venezuelan Juan Miguel Ram\u00edrez.
