Although he briefly returned to the game, Murray did not participate in the last twelve minutes of the match.\n\nCoach David Adelman reported that Murray will be evaluated on Tuesday.\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>It&#8217;s a huge absence, obviously, on the offensive side. Jamal is a very tough player. If he&#8217;s sitting out because of the pain, it&#8217;s probably because he&#8217;s really hurting. I hope he can return for the next game.<\/p><cite>David Adelman, Nuggets Coach<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nMurray, who averaged 24 points per game, finished the game with 10 points and 9 assists.\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>It was definitely a blow, especially in the final stretch. Everyone knows Mal and Nikola Jokic&#8217;s lethal pick-and-roll. We definitely had problems.<\/p><cite>Spencer Jones<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nIn the 2020-21 season, Murray suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee. During the 2023 postseason, he averaged 26.1 points and 7.1 assists, culminating in the NBA championship for Denver.\n\nIf Murray&#8217;s absence is confirmed, he would join Aaron Gordon (hamstrings) and Christian Braun (left ankle sprain), also out of action.\n\nGordon was injured on November 21st and is expected to return in late December or early January. Braun suffered his injury on November 12th and was estimated to be out for at least six weeks.\n\nThe absence of Gordon and Braun, two of the team&#8217;s best defenders, has been noticeable at times.\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>I&#8217;m not going to come here every night to talk about the players who are out.
