Despite his advantage in skills, Mason fought the full 12 rounds for the first time in his professional career, demonstrating excellent physical condition and endurance to overcome an opponent who never gave up. Mason’s victory places him in eighth place in the divisional ranking.\n\nDevin Haney ascended to the top of the welterweight rankings by defeating Brian Norman Jr., winning the WBO title with a masterful boxing display. Haney sent Norman to the canvas in the second round and controlled the fight with a constant jab, neutralizing his opponent. After the defeat, Norman fell to fourth place.\n\nJesse “Bam” Rodriguez reaffirmed his number one position with a master class by finishing Fernando Martinez and unifying three super flyweight titles, solidifying his dominance in the category. Martinez remains in second place, considering his two victories over Kazuto Ioka, who occupies third place in the ranking.\n\nDavid Benavidez’s resounding victory over Anthony Yarde secured his place as number three in the light heavyweight division, behind former champion Artur Beterbiev and unified champion Dmitry Bivol. However, Benavidez may not hold that position for long, as he announced his transition to cruiserweight for his next fight, challenging unified champion Gilberto “Zurdo” Ramirez during the Cinco de Mayo weekend.\n\n
Boxing rankings highlight the best in each weight category. These rankings are updated according to recent results and performances. Boxers who change categories will be included in the new division, if applicable, once they compete in it. Boxers who hold titles in two divisions may be ranked in both. Boxers inactive for more than 12 months, without scheduled fights, will be removed from the ranking until their next fight. Likewise, any boxer who tests positive for performance-enhancing substances will be excluded.<\/p>\n\nHere are the rankings by weight category:\n\n
Heavy (Unlimited)<\/h2>\n\n\n<figure
