Despite the results, the seven-time world champion assures he does not regret his decision to join the Italian team.\n\nThe change of Mercedes to Ferrari generated great expectation at the beginning of the season, but the results have not reflected the previous optimism.\n\nHis best achievement so far is the victory in the sprint race of the Chinese Grand Prix, and he has not managed to get on the podium in any main race.\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Focused on the Future<\/h2>\n\n\nWhen asked about his first season with Ferrari, Hamilton responded concisely: &#8220;I don&#8217;t look back, only forward&#8221;.\n\nWhen asked to elaborate, he added: &#8220;There&#8217;s not much to say. I don&#8217;t regret the decision I made to join the team, I know it takes time to build and grow within an organization and I expected that. So yes.<\/p><cite>Lewis Hamilton<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\nHamilton is confident that Ferrari will make the necessary changes during the winter to start 2026 in a more competitive position.\n\n&#8220;I definitely think we have a lot of work to do, for sure. During the winter we will analyze the season and there will be many improvements that we must make collectively, but I think no one on the team is under any illusions that we will all have to play a role.\n\nI think we can.
