From that moment on, he dominated the race, leading a total of 304 of the 500 laps.\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n\n<p>&#8220;I think William had the race of his life,&#8221; commented Jeff Gordon, vice president of Hendrick Motorsports.<\/p>\n\n<cite>Jeff Gordon<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nThis victory marks Byron&#8217;s third of the season and the 16th of his career in the Cup.\n\nAfter the race, Byron expressed his excitement for the triumph.\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n\n<p>\u201cDamn, I have a lot to say. Sometimes you get nothing in return. That\u2019s how the last few weeks have been and, honestly, throughout the whole year. But sometimes life is like that. You just have to stay resilient. We were. It just feels really good.\u201d<\/p>\n\n<cite>William Byron<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nRyan Blaney, who also needed the victory to advance, finished second after an intense battle on the track. Despite not achieving the triumph, Blaney congratulated Byron.\n\nKyle Larson, Byron&#8217;s teammate at Hendrick Motorsports, secured the final spot in the Championship 4 with a fourth-place finish.\n\nChristopher Bell, who was left out of the Championship 4, expressed his satisfaction with the result.\n\nByron and Larson will face Denny Hamlin and Chase Briscoe in the final round at Phoenix Raceway on November 2.\n\nIn addition to Bell and Blaney, Chase Elliott and Joey Logano were also eliminated from the playoffs.\n\nHamlin and Briscoe suffered mechanical problems during the race.\n\nHamlin, who had won in Las Vegas to advance, had to abandon the race due to an engine failure.\n\nBriscoe also suffered an engine failure, but he was already qualified for the Championship 4.\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/a4.espncdn.com\/combiner\/i?img=%2Fphoto%2F2025%2F1026%2Fr1566436_1296x729_16%2D9.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><\/figure>\n\n\n<strong>Description:<\/strong> William Byron led the final 43 laps to win at Martinsville Speedway, securing the third spot in the Championship 4.
