After the fight, the boxer claimed to have &#8220;gone through hell&#8221; during his preparation, although he did not specify the details of the situation.\n\nBoth pugilists had to comply with a 10-pound rehydration clause on fight day, which meant they couldn&#8217;t weigh more than 170 pounds on the morning of the fight. Eubank Jr., who has competed in the middleweight category (160 pounds) in the past, made it clear that he didn&#8217;t consider that weight to be his ideal.\n\nDespite doubts about his future, Shalom confirmed that Eubank Jr. aims to return to the ring next year.\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>He&#8217;s doing okay, he&#8217;s recovering.
