Kelvin Cruz Delivers Reconstructed Multipurpose Facility in San Pedro de Macor\u00eds<\/h2>\n\nThe Minister of Sports, Kelvin Cruz, led the delivery of a reconstructed multipurpose facility in San Pedro de Macor\u00eds, marking the 32nd project of his administration in different areas of the country.\n\nThe investment for the remodeling of this sports facility amounted to 14 million pesos.\n\n\n

“I am proud to hand over this facility today to a province that, along with its municipalities, is a national sporting benchmark. I hope they use it and value it, because we are providing this community with an effective tool for the social cohesion of its people,” said Minister Cruz.<\/p>\n\nKelvin Cruz, Minister of Sports<\/cite>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\nCruz highlighted the importance of this work, which was demanded by the community of Ram\u00f3n Santana for 23 years. He thanked President Luis Abinader, whom he defined as the main driver of sports development in the country.\n\nThe inauguration ceremony was attended by civil and sports authorities from the province, including Senator Aracelis Villanueva, Governor Yovanis Baltazar, and Nelson Arroyo, executive vice president of Seguros BanReservas.\n\nAlso present were the mayors of Ram\u00f3n Santana and Hato Mayor, Santa Valdez and Amado de la Cruz, respectively, along with vice ministers of Sports and other personalities.\n\nPrior to the minister’s intervention, the words of the mayor, the governor, the senator, and Dr. Arroyo were heard.\n\nMayor Valdez highlighted the importance of the work for local sports, while Governor Baltazar praised Minister Cruz’s management. Senator Villanueva highlighted the support received by the province, and Arroyo described Cruz’s management as historic.\n\nThe blessing of the activity was given by Pastor Varis Jacobo.\n\n\n

Work Details<\/h2>\n\n\nThe multipurpose facility, built in an area of 2,100 square meters, includes a renovated play area, stands, offices, bathrooms, locker rooms for athletes, a cafeteria, and outdoor areas.\n\n\n

  • General painting was carried out.<\/li>\n
  • Panel supports were repaired.<\/li>\n
