“You just have to find ways to improve,” Lamb declared. “You have to focus on the solution, not the problem. We already know what the problem is: I need to catch the damn ball. Other than that, everything will be fine. When I catch it, be ready.”<\/p>CeeDee Lamb<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\nLamb has accumulated eight dropped passes, the highest figure in his career and the most for a Cowboys player in a single season since Dez Bryant recorded nine in 2012.\n\nFrom those eight drops, six occurred precisely against the Eagles.\n\n

“Honestly, it’s a lack of concentration on my part,” Lamb admitted. “Thinking about what comes before catching the ball. That’s happened a lot. It’s no one’s fault but my own, and I’ve never been one to point fingers, but yes, it all depends on me and I have to fix it.”<\/p>CeeDee Lamb<\/cite>\n\nAfter three drops in the season opener against the Eagles, Lamb was the next day at The Star practicing with the Jugs machine. In the Week 2 victory against the New York Giants, he managed nine receptions for 112 yards.\n\nDak Prescott, the Cowboys’ quarterback, anticipates a “big game” from Lamb on Thursday against the Kansas City Chiefs.\n\n

“You just have to look at his track record. Faced with any game in which he hasn’t lived up to his level or has had a drop or has been a frustrating game, his response has been impeccable,” Prescott commented. “I know that at the beginning of this year it was the same, from the first time we played against the Eagles to his next game. I don’t expect it to be different this time.”<\/p>Dak Prescott<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\nAfter Sunday’s game, coach Brian Schottenheimer assured that Lamb will have many opportunities against the Chiefs.\n\n

“He loves the spotlight,” Schottenheimer said. “He’s an incredible football player and has that look in his eyes that means business. It’s the same look he had after the first game against Philadelphia. I think I revealed a little, but there will be many balls directed to number 88 on Thursday afternoon.”<\/p>Brian Schottenheimer<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\nIn eight games, Lamb has 44 receptions for 632 yards and two touchdowns. He missed three games due to a sprained ankle and, according to Schottenheimer, Lamb is just now regaining his full physical form.\n\n\u201cI feel like I\u2019m the only one getting in my way.
