The Dominican team has achieved one gold, four silvers and four bronzes so far in the event.\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Fight: Three Medals for Dominican Republic<\/h2>\n\n\nThe sport of wrestling contributed two silver medals and one bronze, culminating its participation with a total of five medals in this edition of the Bolivarian Games.\n\nJulio Rafael Rodr\u00edguez won the silver medal in the 74 kg men&#8217;s freestyle, after losing to the Venezuelan Harry Duno. Rodr\u00edguez had an outstanding previous performance, defeating representatives from El Salvador and Bolivia, and overcoming the Peruvian Sixto Auccapi\u00f1a Pedragas in the semi-final, who took the bronze.\n\nElison Adames Garc\u00eda also took silver in the 125 kg, being surpassed by the Venezuelan Jos\u00e9 Daniel D\u00edaz Roberti. Luis Miguel P\u00e9rez Sosa won the bronze in the 97 kg, defeating the Peruvian Kensil Alexander Grajals.\n\nIn other results, Braian Polanco Nicudemus was out of the fight for the bronze in the 57 kg.\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Field Hockey: Historic Victory<\/h2>\n\n\nThe Dominican Republic&#8217;s field hockey team starred in an impressive 26-0 victory against Bolivia.\n\nArgeny Cabrera led the attack with four goals, followed by Ram\u00f3n Dom\u00ednguez, Jefry Monci\u00f3n, and Francisco Javier Garc\u00eda, who scored three goals each. Bladis Quezada and Luis Mora Castillo contributed two goals each.\n\nWith this result, the Dominican team is in third place with a 2-1 record.\n\nThe next challenge will be against Venezuela.\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Badminton: Advance to Quarterfinals<\/h2>\n\n\nNairobi Jim\u00e9nez and Jonathan Linarez advanced to the quarterfinals in the badminton tournament.\n\nJim\u00e9nez defeated Daniela Hern\u00e1ndez from El Salvador in three sets, while Linarez defeated Fabrizio Prudencio from Bolivia in two sets.\n\nIn the quarterfinals, Jim\u00e9nez will face Namie Yimahira from Peru, and Linarez will face Adriano Viale, also from Peru.\n\nOther results: Alissa Acosta and Anderson Taveras were defeated in their respective matches.
