The appeal will be resolved by Derrick Brooks, Ramon Foster, or Jordy Nelson, the hearing officers jointly appointed by the NFL and the NFL Players Association.\n\nIf the suspension is upheld, Moehrig will miss the Panthers&#8217; game against the Los Angeles Rams this Sunday.\n\nTelevision cameras captured the moment Moehrig hit Jennings in the groin during the game the 49ers won 20-9. Jennings did not react immediately and asked the referees to penalize Moehrig.\n\nHowever, Jennings responded after the game with a quick, open-handed slap to Moehrig&#8217;s mask.
