Lorenzo Musetti also did not participate in the tournament.\n\nItaly demonstrated its strength by winning all its matches 2-0 this week at the SuperTennis Arena in Bologna, overcoming Austria in the quarterfinals and Belgium in the semifinals.\n\nSpain was also affected by the absence of its star, Carlos Alcaraz.\n\nIn Sunday&#8217;s final, Berrettini defeated Pablo Carreno Busta with a score of 6-3, 6-4. Then, Cobolli fought to overcome Jaume Munar with partials of 1-6, 7-6 (5), 7-5, securing the decisive point, as he did on the three occasions this week. Cobolli celebrated the victory with his team.\n\nItaly, which won the Davis Cup for the first time in 1976, celebrated its victories in Malaga in 2023 and 2024.
