Lewis Hamilton: “The worst race of my life” at the Spanish Grand Prix<\/h2>\n\n\n

British driver Lewis Hamilton expressed his deep disappointment after the Spanish Grand Prix, calling the race the worst experience of his career. The seven-time world champion finished in sixth position, a result that is far from his expectations and that showed the difficulties he faced during the competition.<\/p>\n\n\n

Hamilton, who started the race with hopes of climbing positions, saw his aspirations vanish. After a good start that took him to fourth place, he yielded to the speed of Charles Leclerc and was overtaken by Nico H\u00fclkenberg in the final laps.<\/p>\n\n\n

Currently, Hamilton holds the sixth position in the drivers’ standings, a considerable distance from the leader. The driver’s frustration was evident in his post-race statements.<\/p>\n\n\n

Faced with the question of whether there was any positive aspect to his performance in Barcelona, Hamilton responded emphatically: “Zero.” When asked about his next steps, the driver simply said: “Home.”<\/p>\n\n\n

The union between Hamilton and Ferrari has not met expectations so far. The team, although in second position in the constructors’ championship, has yet to develop a single-seater capable of competing at McLaren’s level. Hamilton, with 105 victories to his name, has yet to reach the podium on a Sunday.<\/p>\n\n\n

“It just wasn’t a great day,” Hamilton stated. “The strategy was good. The team did a great job. It’s just that’s it. I had a really bad day and I have nothing to say. It was a difficult day. There’s nothing more to add. It was terrible. There’s no point in explaining it. It’s nobody’s fault. I just don’t know what to say.”<\/p>\n\nLewis Hamilton<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n
