Trevor Lawrence Takes Responsibility After Game with Four Turnovers<\/h2>\n\nJacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence took responsibility for the four turnovers he suffered during the 27-24 overtime victory against the Arizona Cardinals. While acknowledging his mistakes, Lawrence emphasized that he will not let the fear of interceptions dictate his playing style.\n\n\n

We had four turnovers and they were all my fault, so I take that and I have to do my job, take care of the ball and not put our defense in difficult situations. But I’m never going to play scared. I’m going to keep taking risks and I think that’s why we have a chance at the end of the day, it’s because you keep playing.<\/p>\nTrevor Lawrence<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nLawrence threw three interceptions, including one in the end zone after being deflected by Cardinals defensive lineman Calais Campbell, and lost the ball on a sack that resulted in a touchdown. This is the first time he has committed four or more turnovers since he suffered five in a loss against Philadelphia in Week 4 of 2023.\n\nHead coach Liam Coen expressed his satisfaction at seeing that Lawrence was not discouraged after the turnovers and reiterated the message to keep going.\n\n\n

After some of them, I told him: ‘Buddy, keep throwing’. What are we going to do? I was disappointed, angry about it, but he kept saying confidently: ‘I feel good. I’m throwing well. I’m seeing it well’.<\/p>\nLiam Coen<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nThe Jaguars are the first team to win a game with a turnover margin of -4 or worse in the regular season since the Las Vegas Raiders against the Broncos in Week 17 of the 2020 season.\n\nThe team improved its record to 7-4 and moved within one game of the Indianapolis Colts at the top of the AFC South.\n\n\n

We talk about resilience, toughness, about staying together, about the guys having each other’s backs, about continuing to play. Trevor was obviously disappointed about throwing some of the interceptions… but then he turns around and makes a great throw to Parker Washington to start the overtime and the guys stepped up. Nobody flinched, nobody was downcast. Disappointed, frustrated.
