Tsarukyan, who will face Dan Hooker, headbutted his opponent.\n\nThe altercation occurred as both fighters were preparing to face off for the last time before their five-round fight. However, Tsarukyan has a history of similar incidents. In 2024, he was suspended and fined by the Nevada State Athletic Commission after assaulting a fan during his entrance to the octagon at UFC 300.\n\nSince the UFC self-regulates in Qatar, any sanction for Friday&#8217;s headbutt must be imposed by the promotion itself.\n\nTsarukyan seeks to establish himself as a contender for the lightweight title.
