First, you want to make sure everyone is okay, it&#8217;s pretty scary. At the time of the first period, I thought I might get home on time, maybe. Obviously, that didn&#8217;t happen.\u201d<\/p>\n\n<cite>Dylan Strome<\/cite>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\nThe little one, Sutton Kimberley, arrived in the world two hours before the start of the game. Strome highlighted the sacrifice of his wife, Tayler, who remained strong while he was away.\n\nThe player expressed his pride in his wife and the difficulty of not being able to be present at the birth. He also mentioned the support that Tayler provides to his other two daughters while he is traveling.\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n\n<p>\u201cI am very proud of her. It&#8217;s difficult, and obviously you want to be there for the birth of your children and you didn&#8217;t know it would come so soon, but I can&#8217;t wait to go see her&#8230; It&#8217;s something I don&#8217;t think I&#8217;ll experience again, hopefully no one does, feeling helpless.\u201d<\/p>\n\n<cite>Dylan Strome<\/cite>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\nIn the game, Strome had a significant impact, winning an initial face-off that led to Alex Ovechkin&#8217;s first goal and assisting the captain in a 2-on-1 to make the score 6-4.\n\nOvechkin, who scored an empty-net goal to complete a hat-trick, commented on Strome&#8217;s inspired performance.\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n\n<p>\u201cFrom the first shift, I think Stromer was feeling it.
