Hamlin seeks to be crowned in the NASCAR final<\/h2>\n\nDenny Hamlin, in his twentieth full season, is positioned to break the record for the best NASCAR driver without a championship.\n\nHamlin earned the pole position<\/em> at Phoenix Raceway, in the NASCAR championship final. The Cup will be contested between Hamlin, his teammate at Joe Gibbs Racing, Chase Briscoe, and William Byron and Kyle Larson, from Hendrick Motorsports.\n\nHamlin will lead the final race of a season in which he obtained six victories, the most in the series. His victory in Las Vegas last month was the 60th of his career, securing him a place in the final and giving him three weeks of preparation.\n\n\n

He will have the support of a group of friends and family who will share three rental houses in the area.\n\nAfter Hamlin achieved a lap at 133.759 mph in his Toyota, obtaining the first place on the grid, the Hamlin-supporting fans are optimistic.\n\nHamlin has lost the championship at least six times. Larson is the only driver in the group with a title, while Byron, two-time Daytona 500 winner, returns to the final for the third consecutive year. Briscoe will make his debut in the title race.\n\nByron and Larson finished second and third, respectively. Briscoe finished 12th.\n\n\n

I think everyone knows he’s more than capable.”\n\nHamlin faces the championship race after a crew chief change in the offseason. Despite his initial reservations, the new crew chief, Gayle, has adapted quickly, and could now be the crew chief who finally leads Hamlin to the title.\n\n\n
