During his time with the Islanders, he had a record of 61-46-20 and managed to qualify the team for the playoffs on one occasion.\n\nLast season, the former NHL player served as an assistant coach in Toronto.\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>I am very excited to become the head coach of the Seattle Kraken.
