These teams have signed a new multi-year agreement that will allow them to continue supporting the drivers and maintaining their team designs on the cars beyond the current season.

This agreement reinforces the model implemented in 2024, where each F1 team began to support a driver from the Academy and adopt their colors on the car. The renewal ensures the continuity of this partnership for several more years, with expansion plans that include the arrival of Cadillac, which will join the Formula 1 grid in 2026 and the F1 Academy program from 2027.

The F1 Academy also announced an update to its participation rules. Starting in 2027, drivers who have already competed in two seasons may receive an exemption to race for a third year, as part of a “personalized approach to nurturing talent,” according to the organizers. This provision will only apply to drivers who demonstrate clear potential for continued growth.

The long-term commitment of support from the current 10 Formula 1 teams, and the incorporation of Cadillac starting in 2027, sends a strong message about the future of the F1 Academy.
Susie Wolff, Managing Director of the series.

La serie F1 Academy se unió al programa de apoyo de la F1 en 2024, compitiendo junto a los grandes premios de todo el mundo.
