Sinner Wins Against Alcaraz in the ATP Finals Final<\/h2>\n\n\nJannik Sinner took the last match of the “Sincaraz” rivalry of 2025, defeating Carlos Alcaraz in the final of the ATP Finals.\n\nSinner, currently number two in the world, defeated number one, Alcaraz, with a score of 7-6 (4), 7-5. This was the sixth encounter between both tennis players in finals this year, solidifying his dominance in men’s tennis.\n\nSinner defended the title before his Italian audience, achieving his second victory of the year against Alcaraz, after also having beaten him in the Wimbledon final. Despite this defeat, Alcaraz still leads the head-to-head record against Sinner, 10-6.\n\n\n

Alcaraz defeated Sinner at the French Open, Sinner took revenge at Wimbledon, and Alcaraz won again at the US Open.\n\nThey also faced each other in the final of the Italian Open, won by Alcaraz, and in the final of the Cincinnati Open, where Alcaraz prevailed after Sinner’s retirement due to illness.\n\nSinner also won the Australian Open, defeating Alexander Zverev in the final, which means that both he and Alcaraz won two Grand Slam tournaments each this year.\n\nIn total, Alcaraz has won six Grand Slam tournaments and Sinner, four.\n\nSinner saved a set point in the first set, with a score of 5-6, thanks to a powerful second serve that Alcaraz couldn’t return. Sinner took control of the tiebreak with a great play and a lob that culminated in a smash.\n\n\n
