Following a post-fight doping test, the former junior middleweight champion has tested positive for a banned substance.\n\n\n<p>A representative from Munguia&#8217;s team informed Alofoke Deportes that they received a notification from the Voluntary Anti-Doping Association (VADA) on Wednesday night, related to the presence of exogenous testosterone metabolites in the A sample. The team will officially respond to this notification.<\/p>\n\n\nThe Munguia team will request the opening of the B sample soon.\n\nMunguia has 10 days to request the analysis of the B sample, in order to verify the origin of the testosterone metabolites.
