Both teams maintained a strong rivalry before that fight, with McGregor making derogatory comments about Nurmagomedov&#8217;s family and religion. Nurmagomedov submitted McGregor in the title fight and subsequently jumped out of the octagon to attack his corner.\n\nOver time, the rivalry has diminished.
