According to UFC CEO Dana White, Danis has been banned from future events.\n\nThe incident that triggered this ban occurred during UFC 322 last Saturday at Madison Square Garden.\n\nDanis got into a fight with several members of UFC champion Islam Makhachev&#8217;s team moments before the start of the main card.\n\nVideos show Danis in an altercation with Abubakar Nurmagomedov and Magomed Zaynukov, Makhachev&#8217;s teammates.\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>I was on the other side [of the Octagon] and I thought, &#8216;Shit, I know exactly what this is&#8217;. You&#8217;ll never see Dillon Danis at a UFC event again.<\/p><cite>Dana White, CEO of UFC<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\nIn the press conference after the event, White confirmed that, although he would not press charges against Danis, he would not be welcome at any UFC event in the future.\n\nDanis was in McGregor&#8217;s corner in 2018, when McGregor lost to Khabib Nurmagomedov in a UFC title fight in Las Vegas.\n\nThe rivalry between both sides was intense before that fight, with McGregor making derogatory comments about Nurmagomedov&#8217;s family and religion.\n\nNurmagomedov submitted McGregor in their title fight, and then jumped out of the Octagon to attack his corner.\n\nOver time, the rivalry has cooled.
