Alcaraz Celebrates the End of the Year as World Number 1 in Tennis<\/h2>\n\nTURIN, Italy \u2013 Carlos Alcaraz was radiant as he lifted the trophy that certifies him as the number one tennis player in the world at the end of the year. The achievement was realized after an outstanding performance at the ATP Finals.\n\nAlcaraz secured the top spot on Thursday, after winning his three group stage matches in the tournament.\n\nThe 22-year-old Spanish tennis player received the trophy at the Inalpi Arena in Turin, shortly before Jannik Sinner’s match against Ben Shelton.\n\n\n

It’s a great pleasure for me to be number 1 in the world again. It’s something I work very hard for, with my team, every day.
