We&#8217;ll talk on December 15th. But it&#8217;s very good news, very, very good news. He&#8217;s not wearing a splint. He&#8217;s walking. I say it&#8217;ll probably be four weeks. That doesn&#8217;t mean it can&#8217;t be less. It&#8217;s not clear at this point. But he&#8217;s doing very well and the news was very, very good.<\/p><cite>Rick Carlisle, Indiana Pacers Coach<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nThe Pacers are already facing the absence of several key players.\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Tyrese Haliburton, who will miss the season due to a ruptured Achilles tendon.<\/li><li>Bennedict Mathurin, who injured his toe after scoring 31 points in two games.<\/li><li>Andrew Nembhard, who has just returned after missing six games with a shoulder injury.<\/li><li>Obi Toppin, was averaging 14 points in three games before suffering a stress fracture in his right foot.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\nNesmith was averaging 15.5 points and 4.5 rebounds in 11 games, his personal best.
