This decision marks a new turn in a trial that has kept the nation and the world of football on edge for more than two months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The surprising resolution comes after the resignation of one of the three judges overseeing the trial, due to criticism related to her participation in a documentary about the case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The judge&#8217;s ruling forced the court to make a crucial decision: appoint a new judge or repeat the entire process from the beginning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On Thursday, the judges opted for the second option, which essentially takes the case back to its beginning.
