They need help. Leaving comments and telling me to commit suicide and wishing I would die of cancer is disgusting and vile.<\/p><cite>Liam Hendriks<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n<p>Hendriks, a 36-year-old reliever who previously battled non-Hodgkin&#8217;s lymphoma, has appeared in 11 games this season, with a 0-1 record and a 5.56 ERA.<\/p>\n\n<p>Hendriks relieved starter Garrett Crochet with one out in the sixth inning of Boston&#8217;s 5-1 loss to the Mets on Wednesday. He finished the inning but allowed three straight singles to start the seventh, including an infield single by Luisangel Acu\u00f1a.<\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>Maybe they should take a step back and re-evaluate the purpose of their lives before hiding behind a screen and attacking players and their families. Whether they do it from their fake accounts or are foolish enough to do it from their real account.<\/p><cite>Liam Hendriks<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n<p>The incident occurs less than a month after Red Sox All-Star left fielder Jarren Duran said a fan near the dugout in Cleveland said &#8220;something inappropriate&#8221; to him after he was struck out during a 13-3 victory over the Guardians.
