The Ministry of Education (MINERD), through the National Institute of Physical Education (INEFI), continues to promote the comprehensive development of students. Recently, the fourth psychomotor classroom was inaugurated at the Susana Josefina Quezada Educational Center, located in the municipality of Jarabacoa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This initiative seeks to provide a space designed to foster essential skills in students. The main objective is to stimulate motor development, coordination, balance, and body expression.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\n“With this psychomotor classroom, we have a great goal, to create an adequate and stimulating space that favors the development of motor skills, coordination, balance, and body expression of the students,” highlighted the executive director of INEFI, Alberto Rodr\u00edguez Mella.<\/p>\n\nAlberto Rodr\u00edguez Mella, Executive Director of INEFI<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
These classrooms are specially designed for the initial and preschool education stage, promoting the cognitive, emotional, and social development of boys and girls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The project director is the physical education teacher, Jacobo Moquete Guzm\u00e1n, who, along with the INEFI team, seeks to contribute to the well-being and meaningful learning of infants from their earliest years of life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In addition to the one inaugurated in Jarabacoa, INEFI has implemented psychomotor skills classrooms at the Yluminada Mejia Basic School, in Cristo Rey; in San Crist\u00f3bal, and at the General Antonio Duverg\u00e9 School, in Honduras, of the National District.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the event, Mar\u00eda Elizabeth Rosario and Mariel Olivo presented a recognition plaque to Rodr\u00edguez Mella for his management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
