Ketel Marte leads Diamondbacks offense in victory over Giants<\/h2>\n\n\nSAN FRANCISCO \u2013 Ketel Marte had an outstanding offensive performance, leading the Diamondbacks to an 8-7 victory over the Giants at Oracle Park. With two home runs hit, Marte was the key figure in this triumph that secured the series and ended a demanding streak of 16 consecutive games without rest against contending teams.\n\n\n

The Diamondbacks finished this challenge with an 8-8 record against the Mets, Phillies, Dodgers, and Giants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Dominican started the offense with a solo home run in the first inning and then added another two-run homer in the fourth.
