The Golden State Warriors will face elimination in Game 5 against the Minnesota Timberwolves without their star, Stephen Curry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The team confirmed Curry’s absence on Tuesday night, due to a Grade 1 hamstring strain, the same injury that has kept him out of the last three games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Curry suffered the injury in the second quarter of Game 1 of the semifinals series. The Warriors have lost the three games he has been absent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If the Warriors manage to extend their season on Wednesday, Curry would have three additional days to recover before a possible Game 6 at home on Sunday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
